microacupuncture: alternative vision treatment
A treatment for vision related disorders such as macular degeneration, diabetes, glaucoma and retinitis pigmentosa.

Even my retinal specialist had to admit I was seeing better, after telling me that nothing was going to help my sight.

VISION PROBLEMS TREATED

Our treatments have been very effective for a number of vision problems and especially with circulatory-related eye disorders. We have enjoyed a great deal of success treating problems such as, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Retinal detachments and even Color Blindness. The success of the treatments varies from patient to patient depending on age and how well the patient responds to the treatment. The amount of treatments a patient may need also depends on how well the patient responds and the degree of improvement the patient desires.

To use the time of their stay as efficient as possible, most patients stay here a for a 1 to 2 week period (actually 8 to 10 days of treatments).
When new patients arrive, it is necessary to have a vision test to determine their current vision. The patient will then receive five to six treatments, after these treatments a second vision test is conducted. When the results of the two vision tests are compared it is possible to determine if the treatments are working.

Under the best conditions, a new patient is able to get the first test in the morning of the first day and three treatments during that day, and another three treatments the following day, then the second test is made on the morning of the third day. Testing is done again after approximately 15 additional treatments to ensure continuous improvement.
For patients who know that the treatments are working and wish to have as many treatments possible, we are able to give the patient up to three treatments per day.

One treatment takes approximately 25 minutes. The patient will have small needles placed in the hands, the feet and in the forehead; none of the needles are in close proximity to the eyes. Once the needles are removed, the next treatment may be scheduled for approximately three hours later.

New patients must understand that this is not a "miracle cure", it takes time, and some patients are able to see improvement from treatment to treatment. Approximately 80% attained their expectations of improvement. In only 2% of all patients treated, we noted a lack of improvement.
